Jeff Elder – One Halloween

Description

This EP chases the feeling of being a kid on Halloween, not a particular sound – three songs, three different genres, none of them trying to match, because the day itself never holds one mood for long either.

Wait Until Dark is that morning restlessness: waking up already electric with excitement, then having to survive an entire day of school before the sun finally starts going down. Trick or Treat is the release – the actual night, costumes, candy, pure sugar-rush chaos, the best few hours of the year. Beware the Great Pumpkin is what comes after: drifting off with a full candy bag and your head still spinning, but something darker creeping in at the edges too – the part of Halloween that’s genuinely a little unsettling, not just fun-scary.
