One Halloween Is Coming
I’ve got a new EP coming out this October, and it’s a little different from anything else I’ve put out.
One Halloween chases the feeling of being a kid on Halloween, not a particular sound. Three songs, three different genres, none of them trying to match, because the day itself never holds one mood for long either.
Wait Until Dark is Halloween morning. That electric restlessness of being dressed and ready before the sun’s even up, then having to survive an entire day of school before the sun finally starts going down. Something’s watching you wait, too.
Trick or Treat is the release. The night itself. Costumes, candy, pure sugar-rush chaos. A new wave, surf-inspired rush of a song built for the best few hours of the year. The lyrics could not be simpler. Just shout it: Trick or Treat!!!!
Beware the Great Pumpkin is what happens after the porch lights go dark. Sugar crash, kids in bed, and the night isn’t quite finished with the day yet. This is the part nobody sees because they’re supposed to be asleep for it.
